Flint-rolled marble
Before use: Marble is a lime stone and as such must not be exposed to any form of acid. To protect marble from grease and dirt the following procedure is important: The coarse surface is saturated in a thick porridge-like mixture of soap flakes and water. The best result is achieved if the mixture is allowed to seep into the top overnight. Remaining soap is then washed away.
This treatment is repeated 3-4 times the next two weeks.
Daily care: Use water with soap flakes or acid-free wax.
In case of heavy soiling use a bit of scouring powder and a brush. When the top is dry it must once again be saturated with soap flakes. Repeat the latter process 3-4 times the following two weeks.
